YiYi Acupuncture offers online herbal consultations by video, for patients located in Florida only.

This service is herbal consultation only. No acupuncture treatment is provided online, and patients are not instructed to needle themselves.
本服务只做中药咨询，不提供网上针灸，也不指导病人自己扎针。

How it works / 流程：

Email info@yiyiacu.com to request an appointment, with your name, preferred language, and one sentence about your main concern. Please do not send your full medical history by ordinary email.
发邮件到 info@yiyiacu.com 预约，写姓名、首选语言、主要问题一句话即可，不要用普通邮件发完整病史。
After your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link to a HIPAA-compliant intake form. Please complete the detailed intake form and upload tongue photos there.
预约确认后，你会收到一个 HIPAA 合规问诊表链接，请在那里填写详细问诊表并上传舌头照片。看诊视频用 Doxy.me 免费版，问诊表用 Carepatron 免费版（正式收病人前，医师会在账号里确认并保存 BAA）。
Video consultation: initial 60 minutes, follow-up 45 minutes. A written summary will be sent to you after the visit for confirmation.

Pricing / 价格（药费、运费另算，Herb cost and shipping are separate）：

Initial consultation 初诊 60 minutes: $130
Follow-up consultation 复诊 45 minutes: $100
Payment is due at booking. Cancellation policy follows the clinic Refund Policy page.

Important limitations / 重要局限：

Pulse diagnosis cannot be done online. Tongue diagnosis by video and photos is affected by light and camera.
网上摸不到脉，舌诊受光线和相机影响，诊断有局限。
Online consultation cannot handle emergencies. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, or suicidal thoughts, call 911 or go to the emergency department immediately.
网上看诊不能处理急症，出现胸痛、呼吸困难、大出血、剧烈腹痛、自杀想法，请立即拨打 911 或去急诊。
Herbal formulas are prescribed separately, shipped by a partner pharmacy, and charged separately. Herbal effects vary by person, and no cure is guaranteed.

Service: Video herbal consultation, tongue assessment by video/photos, dietary and lifestyle advice, and herbal formula recommendations by Zi Xuan Yi, Florida-licensed acupuncturist, YiYi Acupuncture.

Limitations: No pulse diagnosis, no physical examination. If communication is unclear or the case is not suitable for telehealth, you will be asked to reschedule, provide more information, or seek in-person care.

Herbal risks: Herbs may cause stomach discomfort, rash, or other reactions, and may interact with Western medicines. Tell your practitioner all medicines, supplements, and herbs you take, and all allergies, pregnancy, or breastfeeding status. Do not stop Western medicine on your own.

Privacy and HIPAA: Your intake form, tongue photos, and visit records are protected health information and are kept confidential under HIPAA, except as required by law or with your written consent. Video sessions are not recorded without your written consent. Use a private room and a secure connection, not public Wi-Fi.

Notice of Privacy Practices: By signing the intake consent, you acknowledge that the clinic’s Notice of Privacy Practices has been made available to you. You have the right to see and obtain a copy of your record, request corrections, and complain to the clinic or to HHS without affecting your care.
隐私通知收讫：签署问诊同意书即表示诊所已向你提供《隐私做法通知》，你有权查看索取病历、要求更正、向诊所或美国卫生部投诉，投诉不影响治疗。
Identity, location, and emergencies: At the start of the visit your name and Florida location will be confirmed. If the video disconnects, we will try to reconnect or reschedule, and will not prescribe by guesswork.
身份地点与紧急安排：看诊开始会核对姓名和佛州所在地，视频中断会重连或改约，不会凭猜测开方。
Withdrawal: You may withdraw your telehealth consent in writing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect services already provided or fees already incurred.
撤回：你有权随时以书面方式撤回远程看诊同意，撤回不影响已提供的服务和已产生的费用。

Intake form / 问诊表

The detailed bilingual intake form is not posted as an ordinary website form, because ordinary website forms are not HIPAA-compliant. It will be sent to you by a HIPAA-compliant form link after booking is confirmed.
详细的中英对照问诊表不直接放在网站普通表单里，因为普通网站表单不符合 HIPAA。预约确认后，会用 HIPAA 合规表单链接发给你。

Questions in the intake form include: main concern and history, current medicines and allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, the Ten Questions of Chinese medicine including detailed cold hands and feet, sleep, digestion, urination, emotions, energy, women’s and men’s health, skin/hair/nails, family history, lifestyle, and three tongue photos in natural morning light: front of tongue, tongue coating, and underside of the tongue with the tongue lifted.
问诊表包括：主要问题和病史、现在用药和过敏、怀孕哺乳、中医十问（含手脚冷的详细范围）、睡眠、消化、排尿、情绪、精力、女性男性健康、皮肤头发指甲、家族史、生活习惯，以及早上自然光下的三张舌头照片：舌面正面、舌苔、舌头抬高后的舌底。
